How could we resist a bar with a Bordello Room? The recently-opened Storyville picks up where its namesake left off: cocktails, live music, dancing...everything a self-respsecting speakeasy needs. They're usually closed on Monday nights, but they'll be opening up their doors for us. We'll be taking over the cocktail lounge (a.k.a. the Bordello Room), where Bill Codman from the Greater Boston Beverage Society will be mixing drinks for us.

Time for another round of Punch Bowl Fund. This month's featured non-profits are:

2. L'Académie
3. Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum Young Patrons Program

Take a sec to read up on each one of them: they are all great, but there can be only one winner. You'll get a chance to vote for your favorite with each glass of punch you buy at the party. Vote early and vote often. The winning organization will receive a donation from Opus Affair for the total amount of punch sold. If you have a charity you'd like to see featured another month, take a moment to nominate them.

EXTRA VOTES: we're trying something new this month. For people who can't make the party or want to add little extra support, you can buy pre-event votes. We're capping these votes at 20 per group, so the real competition will still happen in person...but this will heat it up a bit! Note: these votes are donations. They are not pre-purchased punch.

No matter what your interest or experience in the arts may be, you are welcome to join us—by yourself or with friends. As always, individuals are responsible for running their own tabs at the bar.

If you've never heard of our group before, here's the story: Opus Affair is a mix of artists and art appreciators in our 20s and 30s who get together each month for cocktails and to chat about the arts scene in Boston...or whatever else comes to mind. Some people come for serious networking, others come for fun. There's no formal program—just a chance to have a few drinks with other young professionals interested in the fine arts.
